Casa Isabel was a lovely getaway with amazing views of Puerto Vallarta, but the late-night noise from outside could be disruptive. The staff, especially Brenda, provided really good service, making the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, this boutique inn offers a relaxing atmosphere with a few caveats regarding location noise and maintenance oversight.

Rooms

My one-bedroom suite had a stunning view, a full kitchen, and was incredibly comfortable with soft linens and plenty of pillows. However, the refrigerator was a bit noisy when it kicked on.
Service
10.0
The service was great, with Brenda and the team always ready to help with recommendations and ensuring my stay was good. Their warmth and knowledge about Puerto Vallarta made a big difference.
Location
7.0
The inn's location is great for reaching local shops and beaches in just a short walk down the hill, but be prepared for the steep climb back. The noise from the street was sometimes bothersome, especially at night.
Dining
8.0
The complimentary breakfast was quite simple but a nice touch, and I loved the happy hour at the bar for relaxing in the evenings. Restaurant recommendations from the staff were spot on!
Facilities
6.0
The pool areas were beautiful and well-maintained, offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. However, there was a maintenance hazard near the pool that I encountered during my stay, and the manager's response to my situation felt lacking.

I had high hopes for my stay at Casa Isabel, but there were a few ups and downs. The views are absolutely stunning, and the cozy atmosphere is definitely a plus. However, I found the staff quite minimal during my visit, making it hard to get assistance when needed. The dining options are limited during the day, and the room amenities like the TV and WiFi were less reliable than expected.

Rooms
6.0
The room was cozy and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a amazing view of the bay. However, the TV didn't work and the fridge was a bit louder than I liked.
Service
6.0
The staff, when present, were gracious and helpful, particularly Brenda, who went the extra mile to provide information. But I often struggled to find someone to assist me during the day.
Location
7.0
Casa Isabel boasts a prime location with very nice views, and the vibrant Romantic Zone is just a short downhill walk away. The steep road leading up to the inn can make returning tiring.
Dining
5.0
While I enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast, other dining options were limited. The on-site restaurant doesn't open until later in the day, which was disappointing for lunch.
Facilities
6.0
The pools were a mix; the main pool was too cold, but the infinity hot tubs were quite warm and enjoyable. I did encounter some maintenance issues, like an open hatch by the pool.

My recent stay at Casa Isabel was an oasis away from home with stunning views, though I did encounter some challenges with noise and hotel maintenance. The clean and cozy atmosphere made for a pleasant experience overall, complemented by the welcoming staff who were always eager to assist. However, the increased noise from local teenagers at night and some maintenance issues affected my overall enjoyment.

Rooms
9.0
I stayed in a queen room with a garden view, which was both spacious and well-equipped. The gorgeous view of Puerto Vallarta made the stay unique, but I did find it a bit too light at night due to uncovered windows.
Service
10.0
The service at Casa Isabel truly stood out. The staff was always smiling and eager to help, making me feel right at home. Brenda, the manager, was exceptionally helpful and provided great recommendations for local activities.
Location
7.0
The location was a mixed bag. While I enjoyed the elevation for the amazing views, the steep and poorly paved hill made getting around a bit tricky. However, it was only a short cab ride to the more lively areas.
Dining
7.0
I appreciated the complimentary continental breakfast provided, which was a nice touch. However, the on-site restaurant didn't open until late in the day, limiting my dining options while at the hotel.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, though I did find the main pool quite cold compared to the smaller infinity pools. I was grateful for the cozy atmosphere and additional amenities like the happy hour.

The staff was generally helpful and friendly, but my requests for concerns (like the noise) weren’t addressed adequately.
Location

The location is a beautiful hilltop retreat, just a five-minute walk to shops and restaurants. though the steep hill was not ideal for everyone.
Dining

I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which was a nice surprise, but didn't dine much otherwise.

The hotel was well-maintained with clean rooms and great pool areas, though noise from the outside detracted from the experience.

My stay at Casa Isabel was truly nice. The amazing views and the beautiful palapa-style honeymoon suite made for an idyllic getaway. Though the location requires a short steep walk, the peaceful atmosphere and excellent service from Brenda and the staff made up for it. However, there was a bit of noise from local teenagers at night that sometimes interrupted the tranquility. overall, a good experience.

Rooms

The honeymoon suite was magnificent, featuring an all-glass enclosed bathroom and a soaker tub with stunning views of Puerto Vallarta. The furnishings were comfortable, with numerous plush pillows.
Service

The staff, particularly Brenda, were incredibly helpful and attentive. They offered excellent recommendations for dining and activities, and greeted us with smiles throughout our stay.
Location

Casa Isabel is perfectly perched on a hill, offering magnificent vistas of Puerto Vallarta. It's close enough to the bustling Zona Romantica, just a quick cab ride away, yet secluded enough for a peaceful retreat.
Dining
9.0
The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, featuring assorted muffins and other simple treats to start the day.

The hotel was immaculate, surpassing even the cleanliness of my own home. The terrace with the pool was lovely, and I appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen in my suite.
